TOYOTA MODELS WE SERVICE
From a high-mileage Corolla to a late-model Tundra, these are the Toyotas we work on every week. Don't see yours? Call and ask.
Why Your Toyota Needs a Specialist
Toyotas are built to last a long time, but only if they get the right care. A basic code reader can show a fault. It can't test a hybrid system or register a new key.

Common Toyota Problems We Fix
Toyotas last a long time, but a few problems come up again and again. Here's what we see most, what you'll notice first, and what we do about it.

Oil Burning and Oil Leaks
Burning oil. The oil level drops between changes with no leak on the ground, and the oil light may come on. It's common on 2007 to 2011 Camry, 2006 to 2008 RAV4 and 2009 to 2011 Corolla models with the four-cylinder. Worn parts inside the engine let oil burn off. We measure how much oil it uses, then lay out your options in writing.
Oil spraying from the V6. Oil spraying from the top of the engine, an oil light, or a sudden engine noise on many 2005 to 2010 Camry, Avalon, RAV4, Highlander and Sienna V6 models. Part of an oil line was made of rubber, and it breaks down with age. If it bursts, the engine can lose oil fast. We replace it with Toyota's updated all-metal line.

Cooling Problems and Prius Engines
Coolant leak on the V6. A sweet smell, dried pink crust on the front of the engine, or a climbing temperature gauge, most often on 2005 to 2008 RAV4, Camry, Highlander and Sienna V6 models. The water pump starts to leak. We replace the water pump and check the rest of the cooling system, then refill with Toyota's coolant.
Prius shaking or losing coolant. A shake on a cold start, misfire warnings, or coolant that disappears with no leak in sight, usually on 2010 to 2015 Prius models past 150,000 miles. A clogged part in the exhaust makes the engine run hot until it damages the engine. We clean it out before it gets that far and check the cooling system on every visit.

Truck Frames and Warning Lights
Rusty truck frame. Flaking or bubbling rust on the frame, or soft spots, on 2005 to 2010 Tacoma, 2007 to 2008 Tundra and 2005 to 2008 Sequoia trucks. These frames didn't get enough rust protection at the factory, and Utah's salted roads make it worse. We inspect the frame on the lift and show you photos of what we find.
Check engine light and low power. A check engine light, the truck dropping into low power, or a flashing 4WD light on 2007 to 2010 Tundra and 2008 to 2010 Sequoia models. Moisture gets into an air pump that cleans up the exhaust on cold starts. We confirm the problem with Toyota's software and fix the check engine light before replacing parts.
